From May 1, 2025, all foreign nationals entering Thailand—by air, land, or sea—will be required to complete a digital arrival card online prior to their arrival. This update replaces the traditional TM.6 paper form, which was suspended in 2024.

The new system, called the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC), will be mandatory for all international visitors, including tourists, business travelers, and long-term residents. There are exceptions for transit passengers who do not pass through immigration and those using a Border Pass.
Travelers can start submitting the TDAC from April 28, 2025, and must ensure it is completed at least three days before entering the country. The form will collect personal details, passport information, travel itinerary, accommodation data, and health-related information, in line with guidelines from Thailand’s Ministry of Public Health.
The TDAC can be filled out on the official website, tdac.immigration.go.th, and a mobile app for Android and iOS users will be available shortly.
After submitting the form, travelers will receive a confirmation email, which they must present along with their travel documents upon arrival. It is important to note that the TDAC is not a visa, but rather a digital entry form designed to simplify the entry process and align with international standards.

Certain individuals, including Thai citizens, diplomats, certain international organization members and their families, and foreign officials on official business, are exempt from this requirement.
